April 9,2018 - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Perisind Samudra Sdn Bhd and Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd with Skills Johor Sdn Bhd to be the catalyst for the success of the Technical and Vocational Training program at the mukim of Pengerang, district of Kota Tinggi ("TVET 4.0").
Under the development plan called "New Decade of Johor", Johor will witness the structured development of a wide range of infrastructure and mega projects, which include the Forest City, the High-Speed Rail Projects, the Gemas-Johor Bahru Electrified Double Tracking Project and the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC), among others. The completion of these mega projects relies heavily on the strong collaboration between Johor government, federal government, private businesses and non-governmental organisations.
The culmination of efforts between the companies enforces that all the training conducted under the TVET 4.0 would enhance local-bumiputra youth's technical and soft skills and increase their competitiveness and readiness for market demand, specifically at the PIPC and nearby petroleum and petrochemical complexes.
The event was officiated by YAB Dato' Mohamed Khaled Nordin at PTD 5012, Mukim Pengerang, Kota Tinggi.
