GRAND PROGRAMME BATCH 5

Kelana Jaya, October 5, 2018 - Universiti Teknologi MARA in collaboration with Skills Johor has successfully trained over 100 local university graduates through the Graduate Readiness and Determination Programme (GRAND).

At the closing ceremony, a total of 36 graduates have successfully completed 11-days intensive training and will soon start their career in sales and service.  Present at the closing ceremony was Associate Professor Dr. Rosmadi Ghazali, Deputy Director, Industrial Network Center (INC), Universiti Teknologi MARA and Director of Skills Johor, Tuan Haji Zakbah Harun.

"We are very proud of the strategic entrepreneurship with UiTM.  We have successfully trained and placed 105 trainees and certainly; a strong industrial network plays a vital role in this success," said Zakbah Harun, Director of Skills Johor.

The programme currently focuses on the retail sectors involving 80 local and international companies by providing nearly 150 vacancies.
